Recent Residence Marriott Midtown 17th Review: "We were attending a concert at the Woodruff Arts Center on a Friday night and decided to find a place close by an just stay the night to avoid the traffic going back home. We live just about 30 miles outside of Atlanta. We chose the Residence first of based on the location - it was only about a block or so from the venue; second the price was very good,  and third because of all the great reviews. I knew ahead of time about the valet parking charge, so we were fine with it. Our room was immaculate. This hotel is obviously intended for extended stays, as the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pans, etc. After the concert we walked down to the Tap and had a late supper and cocktails, then walked back to the hotel. It was great. Check-out was not until noon, so we slept in the next morning. I highly recommend it and we will stay there again."
