Recent Omni Downtown Cnn Review: "You know, I read most of the reviews for this hotel and found roughly half of them good, half not-so-good, so I arrived at the hotel with an objective mind. I have to say that my experience at this hotel was a great one. My travelling companion and I were actually able to check in early as they had our specific room choice available, which was great for us having just taken the MARTA to the hotel from the airport and had our luggage etc. We also requested a compact refrigerator as my travelling companion had medications that require cooling, and the refrigerator was delivered promptly. Every staff member that we had contact with was polite, friendly and courteous and seemed geniunely interested in making us feel welcome. The hotel was very clean and tidy and spacious from the lobby to the room!! Of course having Olympic Park, CNN Center, Phillips Arena, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and the Tabernacle concert hall, and the MARTA station all within one block of the hotel was an absolute plus!!!! I would definitely stay here again the next time I go to Atlanta and I'll tell my friends!!!!"

| We were only in the hotel basically to sleep, as we were only in town for one night, but the staff was very polite, and the valet parking made it extremely convenient.
No complaints at all. |

| This hotel has two front desks, one in the north tower and another in the south building, this was a mess because one would close during some time in the afternoon (irregular hours). I had a couple of promise done by the front desk: never came true. I when back to inquire about it, well, nobody knew anything. Third time again, nothing again –what a joke for service. None were true to their word.
There were three water glass containers beside each front desk, but they were always empty and we were there for 3 nights in a double bed room, their beds are really small too. Pool was very small in size. I parked my car some where else for 1/3 the price. I would not recommend this hotel because of the front desk service, although in-room service was exceptional. |

| Overall, a fine hotel. Safe, convenient. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. Probably better for short stay rather than multi-nights. Desk chairs are very uncomfortable and not conducive to getting work done. Bathroom amenities are fine, but lack a magnifying mirror for makeup. I didn't realize it but I'm starting to expect the mirror in hotels. |

| The Omni Hotel at CNN Center offers the convenience of being located at the heart of downtown Atlanta with the comforts of a luxury resort. From the staff to the room, everything was better than expected. This hotel is especially convenient if attending events in the GWCC as it is literally just downstairs from the hotel! If and when I return to Atlanta, GA, I will be staying at the Omni. |

| This was my first visit to the Omni and I was impressed. The convenience to the CNN Center, Philips Arena, Olympic Centennial Park, and the attractions of mid-Peachtree Street were perks for me. The room was very cozy yet spacious. I had a great view and had no issues with the staff or other hotel guests being noisy. The valet service was quick and always courteous. I was always greeted by hotel staff. I would definitely choose the Omni again. |

| Everything was pretty much as it should be for this caliber of hotel. The shower nozzle was loose and not affixed to the tile in the bathtub/shower stall which gave the sense of "cheapness" or Motel 6 like experience. That is not to say the loose shower nozzle overshadowed the whole stay experience.
The one thing that I did find completely and utterly annoying was the "mandatory" valet parking at $30/day. I simply cannot understand how or why any establishment would REQUIRE valet parking and then charge you exorbitantly for it. To require something of this nature is NOT customer service. It is the opposite. I will say that to require "valet" parking at that rate almost nullifies any "savings" obtained on the room rate. There cannot be any valid reason to require valet parking other than a gimmick to extract more money from the customer.
Additionally, a hotel of this caliber should offer some sort of free internet access. This benefit is offered by motels such as Motel 6, Red Roof Inn, and Econolodge -- not to mention many mom and pop shops around the country. To want to charge a customer $6.95 for 15 minutes of internet access is ridiculous. |

| Our stay was pleasant, but not without issues. The rooms were very spacious and clean (room service is excellent). My only issue is that the employees are not always willing to help. I entered the hotel struggling with my bags and no one even bothered to ask (not the case with other Omni hotels). Aside from this the hotel is conviniently located and will satisfy most travelers. |

| I loved it being adjacent to the Convention and CNN Centers! So close I could go to the exhibits, drop off all the stuff in my room instead of carrying it around all day and still get to the next lecture on time. For convention attendees, that's a huge plus! I will definitely stay here again.
Also, the coffee store and late night bar were very convenient. |
