Recent Marriott Marquis Downtown Review: "My fiancA© and I have stayed at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis three times now and this last visit was by far the worst. The hotel, staff, restaurants, and everything were perfect as usual but the only thing that set this visit apart was the Momocon convention that was booked for the same week. This convention led to the elevators being backed up 10-15  minutes at least and an odd atmosphere to be within whilst walking about the hotel. I would take blame for this inconvenience if I had not called in advance and asked if there were any events/conventions being held at or near the hotel; I was told there was none besides the St. Patrick's days festivities. All in all, the hotel is by far one of the best in Atlanta and I would suggest this to anyone entering the downtown area, but to be advised of certain events taking place in the city."
