Recent Hotel Midtown Review: "Went to Atlanta for a conference at the Georgia World Congress Center but all hotels within walking or shuttle distance of the conference were booked solid. No worries, Hotel MIdtown was offered at a much better price than these others and was near the Marta line, just a few stops from the GWCG. I'm an independent traveler who enjoys walking or taking  public transportation, so this option suited me fine. My only concern was if the neighborhood would be too sketchy for my safety (attractive female going solo), but I never felt unsafe, even after dark. Well-kept neighborhood, good Thai place across the street, reasonable buffet breakfast inside the hotel restaurant, Mojito's, although the service was a bit vague. Front desk service was superb, however. Clean, quiet, respectable hotel, nice room, free wifi in the lobby's comfortable seating area. Would definitely go back."
