Recent Holiday Select Perimeter Dunwoody Review: "My room was spotless. Bathroom fixtures polished to a shine, floor & corners clean, ran my hand over bathtub - it was spotlessly clean, shower curtain clean, toilet scrubbed clean - even under the seat. I travel with disinfectant, but did not have to use it! I could not find 1 hair or waterspot in the bathroom! No dust on the furniture and even the window sill was spotless when I ran my hand over it. I honestly believe this was the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet featured both hot & cold items, with eggs, bacon, sausage, and hot oatmeal, in addition to fresh fruit and the usual cold continental items. Dining room was clean and the staff courteous and helpful. The dining area seemed dark, but the food & coffee were good. Check-in was fast and the staff was awesome. They had no problem accomodating my request for a smoking room facing the parking lot and away from ice machines. I had read online that rooms facing the freeway were noisy. BTW, they had a soda machine next to the ice machine. I decided at the last minute not to travel with my dogs, but a manager informed me of their pet policy: they welcome pets and have the most reasonable rates I've ever found anywhere. Most hotels make me feel robbed with pet rates, but not this one. I booked this room with trepidation after reading customer reviews, but my stay was wonderful. They are renovating the hotel and I was told by a manager that they are aggressively correcting deficiencies voiced by customers in online reviews of their stays at this hotel. Throughout my stay I was asked by staff if everything was OK, and did I need anything. They seemed eager to please. Fitness room was clean and I enjoyed it immensely after my 10 hour drive, followed by sitting all day in a workshop classroom (the reason for my travel).
