Recent Embassy Atlanta Buckhead Review: "ES on Peachtree offers a nice hotel for a reasonable price when compared to the other more elegant hotels in the area. Hotel does try to recapture $ on internet charges. Even my i-phone was blocked from accessing my email unless I used their site @ $10.00 a day; Parking is $21.00 a day; dont' believe that local calls were free (but that could be mistaken). King  bedroom was large with a separate livingroom (door shuts between the two). Bed was comfortable. Do put our your 'do not disturb' sign, otherwise maids begin knocking before 8 am. Room has refrig/micro. Keep heavy drapes closed, otherwise guest can see into room from hallway. Manager's cocktails was a very nice perk. The bartenders (f) were very freindly. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and took last call back up to the room. Valet parking is pricey and so is self-parking. The valet is friendly and they were swift. The pool is nice but right off to the right inside the main atrium just past reception, yuck. The coy fish were huge; we got two dinners for 4 out of one. Lenox Square is just north and in walking distance; Solomon Brothers Jewelry is just across the street; and the bar district is a very short taxi ride south. Hotel offers a shuttle ride within about a mile radius -- that captures most of the food/spirits in area. Hotel cause use an update. But all in all, we would stay there again and we do recommend this hotel."
