Recent Doubletree Druid Hills Review: "Went to Atlanta for the first time and stayed at this Double Tree for 4 days and I have to say that it was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. For the price I would have expected much less but I got more along the lines of a 5 star hotel. Room was so comfy except for the pillows unless you have a lot. The front desk staff was so friendly! We ordered room service and there were a few things missing from our order and they sent someone up right away and made it right. The mini fridge and microwave are in an unexpected place (the dresser) but it was great for the time we were there! The best part was how close to the highways we were, it took only 10 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go. All in all it was a great hotel and the staff is great!"

| This was our second stay. Very pleased with the hotel and service. Good value for the price. Amenities are better than average. Staff were excellent. We had no special needs or requests, but confident they would be met with a smile. Very nice fitness center. Would highly recommend as a place convenient to downtown, but out of the rat race. |

| This hotel room was not as expected. We got the hotel room all the way in the back corner, very small and tight. We booked a queen bed, and our bed was obviously a full. Not what I expected.. |

| Everything was great! The staff was fantastic and really wanted to make us feel welcome.I travel with my husband and three kids and I am very big on cleanliness of the rooms we stay in and I was very pleased. So much so that we are going to look for this chain of hotels whenever we travel. To top it off we were able to see the 4th of July fireworks from our room. That was a big hit with the kids. THANKS DOUBLETREE FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! |

| We were looking for something fairly close to downtown, but not too expensive. Check-in was quick, the room comfortable.
Highway noise was there, but we were able to sleep through it; if you're a light sleeper, make sure you get a room on the side not facing the highway. |

| Stayed here for 3 nights. Location was very convenient. Approx. 10 minutes to downtown via I-85 highway. There is a shuttle that provides transportation to places within a 2 mile radius, but didn't use it. You could get to the MARTA station using the shuttle if you don't have a car (parking in downtown is about 10 per day). Room needed some maintenance, but nothing major. Don't expect 5 stars hotel rooms since this is not a 5 star hotel. Wifi signal is very weak, so I ended up using the wired connection. Most of the staff was cordial and nice. |

| Overall, the experience at the Double Tree was very enjoyable. The only thing I would say is, they have this system on the TV that is probably one of the most convoluted things I have ever seen. Every single time you want to change the channel, you have to return to a menu that requires you to browse through a number of pages in order to find the "tv guide". To me, it was an overdone way of advertising that was truly obnoxious.
Beyond that, one of the things that I really like is that they use Duvets...or comforter covers. This allows staff to wash the top item on the bed every day...so there isn't the concern of sitting in other people's "messes". Very comforting. |
