Recent Courtyard Marriott Marietta Windy Review: "Stayed here the night before taking a major exam at the nearby Prometric center. The hotel was clean and very quiet. When I checked in I asked for a room that might be in a quiet low-traffic area of the hotel -- Miss Daphne was so accommodating she checked me into a top floor room and left the rooms on either side of me empty for the night! Breakfast  in the morning (starts at 6:30) was convenient and delicious! Absolutely recommend."

One of Atlanta’s larger suburbs, Marietta houses the Dobbins Air Reserve Base and a Lockheed-Martin manufacturing plant. The Civil War plays an interesting role for the town: all but three buildings were burned during Sherman’s March, but the Marietta now hosts a Gone with the Wind Museum.
