The A/C in the room was so loud and the room was extremely hot, we had to go back to the desk to have another room assigned to us.. The morning breakfast was very bad , there was not enough food and each day we had to go out for breakfast, the internet was horrible,we requestd a frige, none was available, never could get a a good connection. this hotel was nice if you just want to sleep and run, not a hotel where I would spend a week long vacation.

Overall a decent hotel for the value we paid. The rooms are adequate for our needs. We wished the beds would have been a bit more comfortable. We also wanted a refrigerator, requested one with our reservation, but weren't able to get one. But overall the rooms were clean and roomy. We were about a 15 minute walking distance to World of Coke and the Aquarium, and also the capitol. Easy access driving to the highway. About a 10 min drive to the Braves Stadium. The pool and breakfast were also very nice. Parking at the hotel was easy access also. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The Baymont Inn and Suites advertise on their site that they have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. That is not true. They only have refrigerators available for rent on a first come first served basis and none were available during my stay. This was an inconvenience. The Air conditioning unit was not working only blowing out warm air. I reported it to the front desk but it was never addressed. At nights it was hot in the reoom. I noticed thatt in the bath tub there some blue water in it(maybe left over from cleaning) since the stopper was closed. That was also never addressed. Free Breakfast was ok. Toaster was a conveyer type that you had to run your food through about three times before it was toasted. Long lines led to unruly crowds at times. Room was cleand every day and beds made up and trash cans emptied. There was no "Do not disturb sign" to hang outside the door. Parking is $15/night but most places around here charge for parking so unless you need a car I would skip it Stay here if you must but there are other hotels in the same general location.

I would stay in the hotel next door to it. It was cleaner and the rooms size was bigger and the lobby area was much nicer compared to the Baymont.

My experience was disappointing. I checked in and was placed in a room on the fifth floor which reeked of dog mess, stale booze and cheap cigarettes. The colour of the carpet was not visible through the grime and stain and the stench that eminated from the room when you enter would make you sick. Outside, the corridors were crappy and dirty with water runnng across the hall from the ice machine that is half broken exposing the water and ice for easy contamination. I quickly asked to be removed and was placed on the third floor which was a little cleaner, more airy, smelled better and a little bit more acceptable. Had I biewed this property before I would NOT have booked it. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room we stayed in was very small.Bathroom was even smaller and the toilet was almost unaccessible being between the tub and the wall.Furthermore, it was very low making it difficult to use. There was only one small mirror in the bathroom. The staff was nice and polite.Room service was decent as well. I would not want to stay there again.

The hotel was easy to access and the staff were very friendly. Upon going into our room, there were stale french fries as if the staff hadn't thouroughly done a good job cleaning up after the last people left. There was also trash scattered all over the floor of our hotel once you stepped out of the elevator. The security on sight was very freidnly to any questions asked about the local area, and the hotel staff was able to deliver us fresh towels in a timely manner when we returned one afternoon to find out we had no clean ones. One thing I did notice was there was no "Do Not Disturb" signs to hang on the room door, and it became very annoying @ 8 am every morning when clean-up staff would bang on the door for 2-3 minutes. Overall it was an OK hotel for the price.

The air conditioner in the room let in a lot of noise, basically it was like sleeping with an open window, so if you're a light sleeper, you'll want something else.

The Baymont Hotel is a modest hotel in downtown Atlanta that could benefit from some better housekeeping, especially with the elevators not always working correctly, and the internet access in the lobby area rather touch and go. However, the rates of the hotel are reasonable, and the location in downtown Atlanta, with its proximity to the major hotel chains and attractions is ideal. I recommend it for short stays as long as one's expectations are not unrealistic.

We stayed at the Baymont when attending the SEC Championship game in Atlants. The location was convenient to the Georgia Dome and restaurants. My only complaint was we asked for a non-smoking room and our room smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was clean and the locationn was very good. I would stay here again.
